Terms of service
As a heads-up, this service allows manually-added (and ostensibly trusted) users
to upload images and share them on other online spaces as links, mostly for convenience.
Random users do not live here, but the rules still need to be made clear to everyone.
If only to allow people to know what to report for.
What one can do
- Upload images via approved methods through the site.
- Share links on public spaces.
- Choose any allowed persistence time on the uploaded files.
What one cannot upload or do
- Piracy, or uploading images you do not have permission to share.
- Posting links inadequate for the space they're being posted on.
- Automated or excessive mass uploads.
- Adult media, or pornography.
- Certain forms of borderline non-photographic adult art are not prohibited.
- In such a case, one must exercise extra caution and avoid posting such links on inadequate spaces.
- Political propaganda or content I (the host) don't personally agree with (I disagree with nearly all of politics).
- Extremist or terrorist content.
- AI-generated images.
- Content that encourages or normalizes harm or crime.
- Photographic (real) or realistic gore.
- Unrealistic or clearly cartoon-looking gore images are not disallowed.
- Then again, care must be taken to avoid posting their links on spaces they're not welcome into.
- Altered or edited content made to cause panic or spread misinformation.
- Embed images hosted on this service onto external websites or blog posts. Links are fine.
- Crafted images containing malware designed to exploit past or present software vulnerabilities.
- Anything illegal under laws in Mexico and/or the United States.
Consequences for breaking the terms of service include deletion of offending content and banning the
user, which may or not cause all of their uploaded images to be permanently erased and lost.
Note that, even if individually an image does not break a rule, it can be deleted if it's been posted
where it disrupts or breaks norms. Chat, forum or space administrators can submit a full report for
this to happen.
WARNING: discretionary judgment is in use. If something looks like it has been uploaded and posted
in bad faith, it will be deleted even if it does not literally break any rules mentioned above. All deletions
are final and cannot be undone. Re-uploading deleted content that only broke a rule contextually is allowed,
provided it does not break such rules again.
